42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice in Hellertown, PA. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from exam and diagnosis to delivery of care, including in-office specialties.

A strong patient flow supports a varied schedule with opportunities for professional growth. The role emphasizes preventive care, treatment planning, and collaboration with a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
