Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our Hollidaysburg practice. You will oversee the full patient experience from exam and treatment planning through delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics and endodontics.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients, creating plans, and maintaining records. Typical schedule is 2–3 days per week with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards and professional ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and best practices via CE.
