Job summary
42North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our Hollidaysburg practice. You will work 2–3 days per week, with options for 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 10:00 AM–7:00 PM hours, focusing on comprehensive patient care and excellence.
The role offers a daily guarantee or a competitive percentage of collections up to 36%. Expect a supportive team, ongoing CE opportunities, and a patient-centered environment that emphasizes high-quality care.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry in the relevant state.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
- Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
