Job summary

42 North Dental in Lehighton seeks a part-time Dentist to join our established practice and deliver the full clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, educate patients, and create and review treatment plans with our supportive team, ensuring the highest quality care and professional standards.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting tissues
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics
• Keep up with new developments and ongoing education

Education
