Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our patient-centered practice. You will manage the full clinical patient experience—from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a strong patient flow, opportunities for CE, and a competitive daily rate for weekend/part-time coverage in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain high standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education
