Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, PA is seeking a licensed Dentist to join our growing practice on a part-time schedule with two Saturdays monthly from 7 AM to 12 PM. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through CE and professional development.
