Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care, from exams and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a daily rate of $750-$900 USD with a supportive network of doctors, ongoing CE opportunities, mentorship, and a strong emphasis on ethics and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program
