Job summary

42 North Dental in Bucks County is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to join our established practice, serving a steady flow of new patients. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from exam and treatment plan to delivery of care; in-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Daily rate ranges from $750 to $900 USD. Must hold a DMD or DDS, US license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in the applicable state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education
