Job summary

42 North Dental in Lederach, PA seeks a part-time Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from initial exam to treatment plan and delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role supports a strong patient flow with opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network and exclusive CE events. Schedule includes two Saturdays per month, 7 AM–12 PM, with benefits for full-time hours where applicable.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standards of care and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)

Current state license to practice dentistry
