The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review patient records and radiographs.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting structures.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments through continuing education.
