Job summary

42 North Dental in Port Murray, New Jersey, seeks a Part-Time Dentist to lead the patient experience from exam to treatment, with in‑office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, create treatment plans and maintain accurate medical and dental records; a DMD or DDS, current license and BLS/CPR are required. The role offers mentorship and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance and BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
