Job summary

42 North Dental in Gwynedd Valley, PA, seeks a licensed dentist for a part-time role with two Saturdays per month. We offer mentorship and continuing education opportunities, plus a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients, and creating treatment plans. Candidates must hold a DMD/DDS, current state license, vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Daily rate: $750–$900 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination and malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
