Job summary

42 North Dental in Springtown, PA is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. You will provide comprehensive dental care across exams, treatment planning, and restorations, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• Must have DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest standard of care and professionalism
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state license
