Legendary Smiles in Reno, NV is seeking a Part-Time Sterilization Technician / Entry-Level Dental Assistant to support our orthodontic team. Travel between Reno, Sparks, and Carson City clinics is required, and you will sterilize instruments, set up treatment rooms, and assist clinicians during busy hours.

No prior experience is required; we offer training and a path to grow within the practice. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Prior dental or customer service experience is preferred, but zero prior experience is required—we will train the right candidate!
• Mandatory Travel: Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel between Reno, Sparks and Carson City clinics.
• Core Qualities: High energy, dependability, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a team-first mindset.
• Safety & Compliance: This position is safety-sensitive; pre-employment drug screen required and CDC/OSHA/ADA guidelines followed.

Responsibilities

• Instrument sterilization & infection control: Clean, sterilize, and package instruments per CDC/OSHA/ADA standards.
• Operatory turnover & setup: Prepare, sanitize, and reset treatment areas between patients.
• Clinical & inventory support: Restock supplies and assist clinicians during busy patient flows.
• Multi-site clinic operations: Travel between Reno, Sparks, and Carson City locations as scheduled.
