Job summary

Midtown CHC in Utah seeks a part-time Dental Hygienist to assist the dental provider, perform prophylaxis, dental X-rays, fluoride, sealants and perio scaling under supervision, and educate patients on treatment plans.

Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene school and Utah Dental Hygiene License are required; current BLS certification is also required. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with emphasis on accurate records, sterilization, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Utah Dental Hygiene License required; BLS certification required.
• 2 years' experience in a health care center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prophylaxis, dental X-rays, fluoride, sealants, and perio scaling.
• Deliver local anesthesia under dentist supervision as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans.
• Complete paperwork and maintain confidential patient records.
• Maintain sterilization procedures and dental materials knowledge.
• Recognize emergencies and maintain safety standards.
