Job summary

Western Dental Services, Inc. is seeking a friendly Part-Time dental hygienist to build positive relationships with patients and join our team.

Schedule includes Wednesdays and 1-2 Saturdays, with opportunities for growth and advancement, plus a comprehensive benefits program and incentive plan. You will work with a team of hygienists and dentists to deliver preventive care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and support a recall program.

Qualifications

• A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff.
• Ability to travel between locations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of fluoride and sealants.
• Accurately chart a review of patient dental history and update as necessary, patient's periodontal health, record provided treatment, and handle patient records securely.
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist.
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act.
