Nite Lines USA is seeking a Licensed Dental Hygienist for a part-time role at DeKalb Public Health. Work hours are 8:00am-5:15pm, 20 hours per week, with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday availability.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in dental hygiene required.
• Current Georgia dental hygienist license required.
• Two years of related experience required; or one year at lower-level Hygienist 2.

Responsibilities

• Cleans teeth and examines head, neck, and oral areas for signs of disease.
• Educates clients on oral hygiene; may take x-rays or apply fluoride/ sealants.
• May serve as lead hygienist and assist dentist with exams and x-rays.
• Prepare supplies for events and provide health education at programs and fairs.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization procedures.
