Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• 1 year on-the-job experience in a dental setting.
• X-Ray certification - Required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintains annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols and patient confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling as needed.
