Job summary

Karsch Family Dental in Farmington, MO is looking for a friendly Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist the dentist, take digital radiographs, and maintain instruments while delivering compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate has dental assisting experience or strong motivation, solid communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred (new graduates with strong motivation are encouraged to apply).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
• Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and operatories according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Take digital dental radiographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical records
• Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Support the clinical team in providing an exceptional patient experience
