Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Endodontist Dental Assistant to support clinicians chair-side and assist with daily operatory setup, cleaning, and sterilization. This part-time role offers opportunities to travel to nearby offices and contribute to high standards of patient care.

You will take dental X-rays, educate patients on oral hygiene, and work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth, efficient procedures across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians chair-side during treatment procedures.
• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Maintain infection control – sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Collaborate with other dental team members to provide exceptional patient care.

Salary: $22 - 27 / hour

How You’ll Make a Difference

As an Endodontist Dental Assistant , you will help support the clinical needs of the practice’s patients and doctors. You will assist the Specialist chair-side, as needed, during treatment procedures. You will have the support you need to maximize your career potential and help make a difference in your community one smile at a time.

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care**

• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

• Perform various office tasks as necessary

As this position requires daily travel to assigned offices, you must maintain a valid non-restricted driver’s license and appropriate insurance or the ability to be insured under the employer’s fleet insurance program (for those assigned a Company fleet vehicle).
