Bright Smiles Family Dentistry in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support clinical staff. This role involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting dentists, and caring for patients during procedures.

Responsibilities include radiography, patient education, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience, X-ray certification, and CPR/OSHA/HIPAA training compliance. Normal office schedule applies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on Dental Assistant experience required.
• X-Ray certification required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection-control training mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist dentists.
• Patient Care: welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: take/develop X-rays, assist with impressions and study models.
