SmileHQ and Elite Orthodontics in Maryland seeks a proactive dental assistant to read the schedule, set up the room, and be ready before patients arrive. You will assist chairside, anticipate the doctor’s needs, and perform radiographs with precision.

Training on digital workflows will be provided, and room to grow is guaranteed within a fast-paced practice. This role requires Maryland Dental Assistant licensure, Maryland radiology certification, and CPR/BLS.

Qualificações

• Maryland Dental Assistant license (Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners) — current and in good standing.
• Maryland Radiation Technologist / dental radiology certification.
• Current CPR/BLS.

• Take radiographs with priority on first-pass accuracy.
• Scan using intraoral technology or learn quickly with training.

That's not a skill you're born with. It comes from reading tomorrow's schedule tonight, knowing what's coming, and setting the room up so the day runs instead of stumbling. If that's how you already work, we want to talk to you.

SmileHQ has taken care of families in Prince George's County for over 20 years. We move fast, we run a full schedule, and we need someone in the back who thinks two steps ahead.

Requirements:

• Maryland Dental Assistant license (Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners) — current and in good standing
• Maryland Radiation Technologist / dental radiology certification
• Current CPR/BLS

What you'll actually do:

• Read the schedule before it happens. Know every case coming through the door, set the room, pull the tray, and have it ready before the patient sits down.
• Assist chairside like you've been to dental school. Anticipate the next step. Know what the doctor needs before she asks for it.
• Take radiographs — clean, diagnostic, first try.
• Scan. Intraoral scanning and digital impressions — or be genuinely willing to learn it fast. We'll teach you.
  
• Flex to the front when it's needed. You don't have to run the schedule, but you should understand it — and be able to help a patient at the desk without saying "that's not my job."

What we offer:

$18–$22/hour — and we pay the top of that range for someone clearly ready for it — obviously. Training on our scanning and digital workflow. A direct line to the doctor, and real room to grow.
