Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Kearney, NE is seeking a part-time SWDS Driver responsible for delivering products from Sherwin-Williams stores using company vans or pickup trucks. You will ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and maintain customer satisfaction while handling goods safely.

Responsibilities include loading orders, adhering to routes, maintaining the vehicle, and providing excellent service. Must be 21+, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, at least a “meets expectations” rating on most recent performance appraisal.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, completed required HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Ensure appropriate forms are completed.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert supervisor to repair needs.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and documents related to deliveries.
• Operate vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform other store tasks including warehouse duties and tinting/mixing orders.
