Job summary

FedEx in Dothan, AL is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages using company vehicles. You will ensure courteous, efficient service and perform related customer service tasks. Minimum education is a High School Diploma/GED.

Must be at least 21, able to lift 50 lbs, and read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and directions. This is an AM/Part-Time position, about 20+ hours per week, with five days per week on-site at the FedEx location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be licensed for the vehicle type assigned.

Responsibilities

• Driver/operator of company vehicles delivering and picking up packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and provides related customer service.
• Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 FMCSA.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
