POSITION: Part-time Delivery Driver

SCHEDULE: We are looking for someone with availability for pick-up days, not necessarily a set schedule.

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for delivering beer and related products to our offsite accounts in and around Indianapolis, in a timely and safe manner. This position must represent Guggman Haus in a positive light, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all legal regulations regarding alcohol delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery Duties:
• Work with our Sales Manager on delivery routes, weekly expectations and account specifics.
• Load the delivery vehicle and ensure accuracy of inventory.
• Safely transport beer and other products to customers' locations and collect and track empty kegs.
• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle and use a dolly to move kegs into cooler at account.
• Verify deliveries against orders for accuracy.
• Customer Service:
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns as they arise and communicate additional issues to the Sales Manager.
• Compliance:
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcohol delivery.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Report any maintenance issues to management promptly and fill with gas as needed.
• Record Keeping:
• Get signed invoice from customer upon delivery completion.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Collect payments from beer buyer when necessary and ensure accurate transaction processing.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 165 pounds at a time (half barrel keg) and maneuver them down or up stairs as needed.
• Strong time management, organizational and navigation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be 21+

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires stooping, lifting, walking and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 165 lbs on a regular basis.
