Job summary

Coborn’s is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We provide training; you bring a positive attitude and desire to learn.

The main goal is to deliver remarkable customer service and create a friendly atmosphere, engaging guests through samples and suggestive selling. As a Deli Clerk you will slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese, prepare salads, and serve foods from the deli case where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests.
• Prepare and dish up salads.
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location).
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing.
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store.
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• In this position, you may also be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products.
