Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service in our Fresh departments. You will help customers find products, answer questions, and maintain clean, organized displays in a fast-paced store environment.

You will work across departments like Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery, using technology to complete tasks accurately while following food safety standards. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
