Job summary

Kj’s Market in Grovetown, GA is seeking a part-time Crew Member to greet guests, prepare products for sale, stock shelves and perform front-end duties. You will help maintain freshness, quality and presentation while delivering friendly, attentive service.

This role requires a team-first attitude, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend/kneel/stand for extended periods, and to work flexible shifts. 18+ years old, good reading and communication skills, and a willingness to learn are all important.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and guest service oriented.
• Ability to work well with others in a team.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guests requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs front end duties to insure “guests arrival” standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
