This is a part-time position. Primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and teamwork to create an inviting environment. Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to standards, providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Associates must be at least 18 years old.
Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to complete required training, and teamwork focus.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent.
Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction with money and weight measurements.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve straightforward problems.
Certificates/Licenses: Completion of company training including food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, talk, hear, taste, and smell. Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must lift up to 30 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally, and reach from 6-72 inches. Vision requirements include close, color, and depth perception.
