Job summary

Mentoring Alliance in Robinson, TX, seeks a Part Time Daycare Worker to lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school. This position is non-exempt and part-time, averaging 17–20 hours per week, with responsibilities centered on youth development and a strong Christ-centered approach.

The role requires a passion for working with children, flexibility to work M-F 2:00–6:00 PM, and a commitment to safety, background checks, and possible CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation

We are seeking ministry-minded individuals to be on our After School team. The Part Time Daycare Worker’s primary role is fostering youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. We are looking for an Part Time Daycare Worker who is devoted to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full potential! You have the chance to have an eternal impact and be a role model to kids in your community. A Part Time Daycare Worker is non-exempt, part-time position that average 17-20 hours per week.

At Mentoring Alliance After School, we hire teachers, youth workers, teen workers, college students, mentors and more to serve and develop kids in our programs.
