Job summary

Central Downtown Preschool in Sioux Falls is seeking a part-time daycare provider to care for children aged 3-5. The role includes supervising children, maintaining a safe and engaging environment, and closing the daycare at the end of the day.

You will interact with families at pickup, follow licensing and health and safety procedures, and support positive social and developmental growth in a warm classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young children is preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet state licensing requirements.

Job description

Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:45-5:30 p.m. Salary: $16.25/hr. Central Downtown Preschool is looking for a part-time daycare provider to care for children 3-5 years old. This person will close the daycare at the end of the day. They will be responsible for keeping the children safe, engaging in play, managing behaviors, and talking to parents as children are picked up.
