Job summary

The successful candidate will teach ethical issues in data science and machine learning, handle full teaching duties, and may teach day, evening, weekend, online, hybrid, or remote sections as needed by the department.

Qualifications

• Interest in teaching ethical issues in data science and machine learning
• Willingness to cover full range of teaching duties
• Ability to work with a diverse student body

Responsibilities

• Prepare course material
• Create and post a course syllabus
• Present material during assigned course times
• Hold office hours and provide out-of-class time for students
• Respond to student e-mails
• Conduct and grade assessments (assignments, exams, etc.) in a timely manner
• Submit final grades
• Course appointments may require instruction during day, evenings, weekends, off-campus, online, hybrid or remote, or any combination based on department needs
