Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) for our Data Center in Portland, Oregon. This role offers a flexible schedule with shifts that fit your life while contributing to a high‑security environment and excellent client service.

You will support access control, patrols, and incident reporting, ensuring safety and a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors alike. A background check and drug screen apply where required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry as directed.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and promptly.
