Job summary

DivaDance in Houston is seeking an energetic instructor to teach original choreography to adults, following our signature DivaDance format. Ideal candidates have experience choreographing and teaching adults, a big personality, and are highly responsive via phone or text.

You will teach 4–5 classes per month at Rise MVMT Studio (5406-B Inker St, Houston) and at offsite events. Compensation starts at $30 per class depending on experience; you must complete our online Instructor Development

• Bonus points for former dance team/drill team/cheerleaders.
• Our application process will require that you submit videos of your original choreography.

THE GIG:

You’re the Queen (or King!) Bee of every DivaDance class, teaching clients original choreography to songs ranging from Bey to Biebs. Our classes are for all levels and follow a consistent DivaDance format. Our ideal candidate has a big personality, experience creating choreography and teaching adults, and is super responsive via phone/text. Flakes or last-minute excuse-makers need not apply! This is a great role for someone who wants to earn extra Venmo or manicure money while doing what they LOVE. You will be required to complete our online Instructor Development Program before teaching your first class. There is no cost to you for this professional development.

HOURS, COMPENSATION, LOCATION:

We are looking for you to teach 4-5 classes per month and-or private parties. Evenings and weekends availability are required. You can expect to teach at our studio at Rise MVMT Studio (5406-B Inker St, Houston) as well as some offsite events and promotions. Candidates must have reliable transportation to get there for classes!

Compensation starts at $30 per class depending on experience.
