Job summary

Meijer is seeking a friendly Food Clerk to support our Fresh departments and ensure a clean, well-organized store experience. You will engage customers, share product information, and help locate items throughout the store.

You will maintain appealing displays, rotate stock, and use store technology to complete tasks efficiently while following safety and quality procedures. A positive, customer-first attitude is essential for success.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
