Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a part-time, security-focused system engineering professional to support cyber secure missions and architectures. You will contribute to SCRM activities, assess risk in IT supply chains, and help develop secure software processes while interfacing with DoD and IC customers.

Qualified candidates will have extensive cybersecurity experience, NIAP familiarity, and the ability to obtain a clearance. Travel ~10% and telework options may apply.

Qualifications

• BS or advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of industry work experience focused in cyber security.
• Experience as a NIAP Validator.
• Knowledge of DoD/SCRM policy guidance (DoDI 4140.01, 5200.44).
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance, US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide security systems engineering assistance to Aerospace program offices for government customers.
• Identify and mitigate risks in IT product and service supply chains.
• Review DoD/IC SCRM guidance and update policies and procedures.
• Attend system development milestone and technical exchange meetings.
• Write information papers on secure software development and practices.
• Develop protection profiles, evaluation methodologies and testable requirements.
