Fastenal is seeking a Part-time Customer Supply Chain Support to assist with orders, inventory and customer interactions at the onsite facility. This entry-level role provides a foundation in customer relationship management and operations, with a flexible schedule after onboarding and performance milestones.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Comfortable in a sales-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests and coordinate resources.
• Place and fulfill orders.
• Receive and ship inventory.
• Execute inventory fulfillment at the customer facility.
• Source and quote new and existing products.
• Participate in continuous improvement and implement new processes.
• Monetize and report the value of supply chain activities to the customer.
