Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Janesville, WI is hiring for a Part-time Customer Site Packaging role at our local distribution center. You will assist with packaging, inspect products, and use a computer to process tasks in a fast-paced warehouse.

This entry-level position offers a flexible schedule after onboarding, with shifts Mon-Fri 7:00am-5:00pm and up to 28 hours per week, serving as a stepping stone into our team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient written and oral communication.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed.

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
