Alliance Animal Health is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative for The Animal Emergency Clinic of Springfield in Springfield, IL. The role supports emergency and critical care services and requires weekday and weekend availability.

Pay ranges from USD 16 to USD 18 per hour, depending on experience. The position involves greeting clients, answering calls, scheduling, and processing payments, with opportunities for training and development within a supportive veterinary community.

Part-Time Customer Service Representative

• Full-time
• Compensation: USD 16 - USD 18 - hourly

**This is a part-time position**

The Animal Emergency Clinic of Springfield provides emergency and critical care services when they are needed most. Our clinic is proudly supported by the Springfield veterinary community and is operational during hours when most regular veterinary practices are closed.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

We are looking for a:

• Compassionate, calmteam player with a positive attitude.
• Consistent punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shifts.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Ability to use cleaning materials and equipment with skill and efficiency.
• Perform moderately heavy physical labor (large dogs, bags of litter, pet foods, etc).
• Abilityto attend to sick, scared and injured animals sympathetically and patiently.
• Ability to learn to administer medications and to recognize abnormal conditions.
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of the job.

**This is a part-time position**

Pay Range: $16-$18/hr. depending on level of experience
