Job summary

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking, keeping store clean, maintaining a safe environment, assisting customers at the register, protecting cash and assets, and performing other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neat presentation.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned*.
