Job summary

Dollar Tree in Pennsville, New Jersey is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Duties include assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

This part-time position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring frequent movement.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions on the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
