Qualifications

• Basic computer and math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• May be cross trained in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage in friendly conversation.
• Scan items quickly and correctly at the register.
• Operate the register or self-checkout and accept various payment forms.
• Verify IDs for liquor and tobacco per policy and state law.
• Bag items and load them into the customer's cart.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and sanitary.
• Observe and report shoplifting as needed.
