Job summary

TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring at TJ Maxx Store in Warsaw, IN for a front-end supervisor who will lead Associates and promote a superior customer experience.

You will model integrity, coach employees, and ensure loyalty programs are effectively explained and applied. You will balance tasks across registers, mentor on front-end best practices, and ensure compliance with labor policies while delivering fast, friendly service.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
• Strong merchandising knowledge and understanding of front-end operations
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced store environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Team player, capable of collaborating with peers and supervisors
• Able to train others on front-end procedures and customer service

• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates priorities and progress to management and Associates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.
