Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, operate the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, follow instructions, and maintain a positive, respectful environment for customers and team members. This is a part-time position based in Pollok, TX with opportunities for growth and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations and manage sales transactions at the register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise; unload trucks and stock replenish.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment; maintain bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned by store leadership.
