Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer at our Hattiesburg location.

You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store appearance while ensuring safety and courtesy. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, stocking, unloading trucks, and upholding cleanliness and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Follow instructions and interpret operating documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Unload merchandise and stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
