Job summary

FirstService Residential in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a part-time custodian responsible for cleaning and maintenance across indoor/outdoor areas. The role includes inspecting areas, performing sweeping, mopping, trash removal, light bulb replacement, and restrooms as needed, while following safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior custodial experience, and strong communication and customer service skills to interact with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning/maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.
• Inform Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
• Remove trash and assist in emergency cleaning.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and equipment is used properly.
