Job summary

B&T Building Services is seeking a part-time custodian in Pittsburgh, PA. You will maintain the cleanliness of the building, follow cleaning procedures, and support a collaborative team in a safe, respectful workplace.

The schedule is Friday 6 PM – 11:30 PM, Saturday 8:30 PM – 12:30 AM, Sunday 6 PM – 11 PM (14.5 hours/week). Pay is $16.50/hour with weekly pay and opportunities for growth within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Good time management to prioritize work.
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and lifting.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and break rooms.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
