Job summary

We offer competitive wages with a flexible schedule for part-time Utility Cleaners at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, including responsibilities across communal spaces, restrooms, and outside areas, using a range of cleaning tools and chemicals to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility.
• 1 year custodial experience in the last 3 years; floor care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (REAL ID compliant) or willingness to obtain one.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• U.S. citizenship to access military installations.

Responsibilities

• Mop tile and concrete floor areas and vacuum carpeted areas.
• Sweep, dust, scrub, wax, buff, and strip floors as necessary.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including urinals, toilets, sinks, mirrors and fixtures.
• Empty waste baskets and interior and perimeter garbage cans, and manage supplies.
• Use cleaning equipment including electric floor buffers and commercial vacuums.
• Refill hand soap and paper towel dispensers and restock toilet paper as needed.
• Mix and use cleaning chemicals following instructions.
