Job summary

Sumner Place is seeking a part-time Culinary Assistant and Cook to support weekend dining services for residents. You will prepare, cook, and serve meals, assist in dining room service, and ensure a clean, sanitary kitchen area.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and can stay active on their feet through long shifts. Qualified candidates should have a caring attitude and integrity, with a passion for delivering quality care.

Job Description

Our Cooks are vital to providing Quality Life for our residents by providing an exceptional and pleasant dining experience. Our Cooks ensure a quality dining experience through preparing and cooking exceptional food for our residents.

This is a part-time weekend position.

Daily tasks include:

• Preparing, cooking, and serving meals for residents
• Serving drinks and meals in the dining room to residents
• Dishwashing
• Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces
• Communicating with residents for food orders

Qualified candidates will have a passion for serving older adults. They will possess high personal integrity and a caring attitude. Our Culinary Assistants stay active on their feet through the day
