Job summary

Silverado Bellingham is hiring Culinary Aides to help create warm, nourishing dining experiences for residents in a memory care setting. This role blends food service, attention to detail, and hospitality. You will assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation, deliver resident meal carts, stock refrigerators, and set dining areas for mealtimes.

Requires a Food Handlers Certificate and English communication skills. Anticipated pay range is $20–$25 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Qualifications:

• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health

• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
